Folk Dance Scene |
The official newsmagazine of the Folk Dance Federation, South, is Folk Dance Scene, published ten times per year on a monthly basis except for combined issues in June/July and December/January.
Scene is published to educate its readers
concerning the folk dance, music, costumes, customs, lore, and culture
of the peoples of the world. It also is designed to inform them of the
opportunities to experience folk dance and culture in Southern
California and elsewhere.

Submissions
Information to be included in the Scene should reach the Coordinators by the 10th of the month preceding publication. The editors reserve the right to edit all submissions. Electronic submission is preferree. Views expressed in Scene are solely the opinions of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the policy of the magazine or the Federation. Neither Scene nor the Federation assumes any responsibility for the accuracy of dates, locations, or other information received.
Subscriptions
Subscription
orders and renewals are handled by its Business Managers; changes of
address and circulation issues are handled by its Circulation Managers.
Subscription rates are $15.00/year (U.S. First Class), $20 (Canada or
Mexico), and $25.00/year in U.S. currency (other countries).

Advertising
Advertising must be consistent with the purposes of the magazine, camera-ready sized, and accompanied by a check or money order for the correct amount. Electronic submission is preferred. The following rates apply:
